February 2025 Edition

Monthly Updates from Webber-Camden Neighborhood Organization
📢 Welcome

Dear Neighbors,
Black history is not just for February—it’s something we celebrate today and every day. Our recent Black Authors Book Fair was a powerful reminder of the importance of uplifting Black voices and investing in the stories that shape our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us to connect, learn, and celebrate together.
As we continue strengthening Webber-Camden, I want to personally invite you to our Quarterly Membership Meeting on March 12th. This is an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions about the North Minneapolis Forward Plan and upcoming economic development initiatives that will impact our neighborhood. We’re honored to welcome Adair Mosely, CEO of the African American Leadership Forum Twin Cities, who will share insights on economic expansion in our community.
Additionally, we’re excited to introduce PaviElle French, our newest team member, who will be leading operations at WCNO. Her experience and passion for community-building will help drive our mission forward in 2025 and beyond.
I hope to see you at the meeting, where we can come together to shape the future of Webber-Camden. Your voice and participation are what make this neighborhood thrive.
With gratitude,
Patricia Deinhart-Bauknight
Executive Director, WCNO

❄️ Snow Shoveling Pilot Program

Winter weather doesn’t have to be a challenge for our elderly and disabled neighbors! WCNO is piloting a Snow Shoveling Program in partnership with the Department of Public Works.
This program hires youth from our neighborhood to provide snow removal services, and the city supplies the equipment. It’s a win-win—youth employment and a safer community for everyone!
