Hello Neighbors,
This month, we’re not slowing down. From celebrating our local businesses to investing in our youth and preparing for the upcoming fall festival, we are hard at work making sure our neighborhood has the resources and connections it needs.
You’ll read stories in this issue that show just how much we can accomplish together—from young people leading the way on civic engagement to the everyday businesses that anchor our community.
I invite you to take part in what’s ahead: mark your calendars for neighborhood gatherings, get to know the businesses that keep our local economy strong, and consider how you can step into leadership with Webber-Camden as we prepare for our annual meeting and board elections in November.
Together, we are building a future where neighbors look out for each other, where our voices are heard, and where our community thrives. Thank you for being such an important part of this work.
With appreciation,
Patricia Deinhart-Bauknight
Executive Director, WCNO
🗳️ Youth + Voter Education: Hitting the Doors

This fall, Webber-Camden youth leaders are hitting the streets—knocking on doors to share where, how, and why to vote in the 2025 election. They’ll leave behind simple voter guides with a QR code linking to resources, making it easy for every neighbor to stay informed.
Early voting is already underway, and it’s one of the simplest ways to make your voice heard. Whether by mail or in person, your participation helps shape the future of our community.

Give to the Max: Investing in Our Community’s Future

Every day, neighbors like Devaries Dillard remind us what’s possible when we invest in one another. From youth leadership programs to local business support, the Webber-Camden Neighborhood Organization helps turn ideas into action — building a stronger, more connected North Minneapolis.
Your gift this Give to the Max Day helps us keep that momentum going.
Here’s what your support makes possible:
Youth Leadership — Jobs, programs, and circles that help young people grow into confident leaders.
Local Business Growth — Grants and guidance that strengthen our business district and support entrepreneurs like Devaries.
Safe & Connected Blocks — Resources for homeowners, safety equipment, and events that bring neighbors together.
Community Leadership — Training and opportunities for residents to guide the future of Webber-Camden.
Every contribution — big or small — directly invests in the people, businesses, and stories that make our neighborhood thrive.
📅 Give to the Max Day: November 20, 2025
💛 Join us and be part of this work. Together, we’re shaping Webber-Camden’s future.

🏡 Make Sure Your Home’s Ready for Winter for Flexible Financing

Is your home ready for winter?
Taking time to prepare your home for winter now can help ease the transition to colder days later. Insulation and air sealing will keep the warm air in and the cold air out for a more comfortable home. An upgrade to a highly efficient heating system like an air source heat pump (ASHP) will save energy while keeping you cozy. No matter what upgrades you decide on, we’re here to help.
Webber-Camden works with Center for Energy and Environment (CEE), a local nonprofit, to offer flexible, competitive loans to Minnesotans. From remodeling and home improvement projects to energy efficiency upgrades, you can choose a loan with terms that work for you and your home.
Get excited about winter by planning your next home upgrade with help from Webber-Camden!
If you have any questions about available loans or other financing opportunities, please contact Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) at 612-335-5884 or visit mncee.org/loans.
